To create my typographic jewellery I use stainless steel motifs laser cut in my own designs (see behind the collection below for more information), I also use stainless steel chain and findings to finish off the pieces.
I can make these pieces in a variety of combinations, not just the ones featured here. For more information on what letters/shapes are available please contact me before placing your order.

Behind the Collection
I have an English mother and Iranian father and as such have always been fascinated with language. I am interested in the mystery of language that not only sounds but looks so different from my own. I am drawn to the typography, specifically as I love the graphic nature of the characters and the fact that I can appreciate it’s beauty despite not understanding it’s meaning. Looking at the Persian characters in this way has enabled me to see the beauty in my own language, something I had not noticed before, and has enabled me to appreciate it in a new way.
I was inspired to use these beautiful languages to create jewellery for my final major project in my degree, I translated prints from my sketchbooks into tangible forms on the laser cutter. In this collection I have worked with stainless steel sheet metal and chain as well as hand dyed mercerised cotton yarns. For more information of the progress of this project and my degree show please visit my blog.
I created two statement pieces for my degree show, using the laser cut stainless steel components, while these statement pieces are not for sale, I have translated the ideas into filtered down wearable pieces which are for sale through my online shop.
