Origami Jewellery

To create my Origami Jewellery I use recycled papers e.g. the inside of envelopes, old maps, sheet music or other decorative papers. It is then given several layers of varnish to protect. All items are finished with silver plated findings.

I can make these pieces in a variety of papers, not just the ones featured here. For more information on what is available please contact me before placing your order.

Behind the Collection

I started creating Origami Jewellery after creating a display of origami butterflies for my shop window, this then lead to a project of creating and installing 1000 cranes in the Byram Arcade, Huddersfield – more information can be found on the the Press section of the Crafty Praxis website. I decided to make the pieces as small as I could and this lead to the idea of turning them into wearable pieces!
